Kansas City is one of two states, Missouri and Kansas, the majority of the city is located in the State of Missouri (attractions, leisure and recreational opportunities see Missouri). The largest city, Wichita, has a rich cultural life with museums, parks, art centers, theaters, music and sports.

On the Wichita Air Heritage Tour (only groups of at least 30 persons), while visiting the Kansas Aviation Museum, the Boeing production facility, the McConnell Air Force Base among others, it becomes clear why Wichita is now known as the capital of the skies. On the Western Heritage Tour of Wichita you can close on the trail of Billy the Kid, Buffalo Bill and the Kiowa chief Satanta war experience the Wild West. In the restored town of Front Street Dodge City, once an important cattle market, the atmosphere is as the Wild West feel.

A journey into the exciting past also offer various museums of the town. The capital is Topeka at the Kansas River and has a remarkable Capitol. Centers are also worth visiting the Kansas Cosmosphere and Discovery in Hutchinson and the City of Lindsborg Swedish settlers. The many theme parks, reservoirs and rivers offer excellent sports and recreation.
