The south of Tenerife is really the most touristy of the island, and reasons for this are not lacking. Since then, the majority of holidaymakers flock to it because of the fame of its beaches, its wealth of entertainment, its renowned nightlife and top-quality accommodations. But aside from the beautiful beaches and tourist attractions, there are many other attractions for those looking for holiday fun alternatives.

When talking about what to see (and enjoy) in Tenerife, we will begin focusing on its range of beaches. The area of Costa Adeje is one of the main tourist resorts in the region next to it there are two calls Torviscas and Fanabe beaches, both of fine white sand and calm clear waters. The walk that journey together is during the day and evening for many visitors. Another sandy highly valued by tourists is the beach of Las Vistas, located in the municipality of Arona, famous for its animation and its attractive golden sand. Following the various coastal municipalities of Tenerife Sur, we stop Granadilla de Abona, El Medano. Precisely here lies the beach of the same name, the longest of the island to take a couple thousand meters. Fine golden sand at its southern end lies the volcano called Red Mountain, which is a protected natural area and separates the beach of El Medano on the beach of La Tejita. Other beautiful beaches of southern Tenerife is The Arena, located in Puerto Santiago and black volcanic sand which give it a really special, the Duke, located in the new area of Costa Adeje and promenade which joins eight other beaches, the paints, red sand and marina nearby Puerto Colon, and her nightgown, curious and fun beach name, located between Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje.

Once thoroughly covered at all beaches, it’s time to stop our steps and our view of the charms of the places that make the south of Tenerife. The best known is Adeje municipality, whose famous Costa Adeje has become a few decades a benchmark of tourism canary. And this is because of its ideal climate, beautiful natural environment and great infrastructure for tourism. The fishing village of Puerto Santiago and the steep cliffs known as The Giants are also the most interesting points.
