Dwali (Feast of Lights): It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the dark fortnight of the month of Karttika (between October and November). Of Indian origin and deeply rooted among immigrants from the Asian subcontinent, during the Dwali they worship the goddesses Kali and Lakshmi, Vishnu’s wife and patron deity of fortune.

Dubai Festival National Day: December 2, the emirate celebrates the birth of the UAE, which in 1971 ceased to be a British protectorate. To commemorate this day, Dubai’s museums open their doors free to the public, while the streets are home all kinds of shows.
